Hello Members.  It pleases me to announce that we'll be resuming raffles for the month of November.  We hope that all members choose to participate and support this guild activity even if it means only buying a single ticket. In addition to the monthly raffle, Mystic Coins will be given out at the end of each guild mission for those who show up on time, actively participate, and stay in the squad the duration of guild missions.

This month's raffle prizes are as follows:

1st: Kudzu
2nd: Dawn
3rd: Leaf of Kudzu

Tickets this month are 3 gold each. Members may purchase as many as they like to increase their odds at winning the prize. Agents as of August 1st are eligible for 5 free tickets, one for each purchase of a ticket.  IE if you want all 5 free tickets you much purchase 5 tickets.  Agents are also eligible for bonus Mystic Coins shall they be randomly selected for the weekly guild mission giveaway regardless of their participation in the raffle.

All funds generated from the raffles are used to fund the next months raffle and guild mission attendance giveaways.  Your support is appreciated.  The more money generated by the guild the more lucrative the prizes will get.

How to qualify:

To qualify you must be a member of XHSA with an associate rank or higher to participate.  You do not have to be present for the drawing to win.  You have up to a week to claim your prize.

Agent ranks or higher will receive a bonus in the form of free tickets or bonus prizes. To quality for free tickets, you must be Agent status before the start of the raffle and maintain it for the entire duration of the raffle.  Any negative changes in your status will result in your ineligibility to win and your tickets will forfeited.  This is to discourage people from pledging for an extra ticket and then deciding later they changed their mind.  No refunds will be issued for breaking your pledge or leaving the guild.

How to participate:

To participate you deposit the amount of gold necessary to cover the amount of tickets you wish to purchase into the guild stash portion of the Guild Bank.  The Guild Stash is the top panel, but look for the label if you're unsure.  Members may buy as many tickets as they like!
 

[Example: If our current ticket price is 5g, and you want to buy 3 tickets, you would deposit 15g into the top panel of the guild bank.]
 

The guild panel allows us to see when and how much gold you have deposited.  If you're an Agent you and free tickets are being given out, they will be added to your total by us into the drawer.  If you deposit gold and you are ineligible to participate raffle we will refund your tickets and let you know why you could not enter.

How the winners are drawn:

The winners are drawn via an online random drawing generator.  The generator allows each person's name to be assigned a weight based on the number of tickets you have purchased, with a higher weight increasing your odds.  The winners will be drawn and published at the first guild mission of the month.

How you collect your prize:

You will be notified via in game mail that you have won and you must reply collect your prize.  You have one week to respond to this mail in any fashion to collect your prize and it will be sent to you.  Any unclaimed prizes will go into the next raffle as a bonus or additional placing prize without it being considered in the pricing of the tickets.

 

Agents benefits, Disclaimers, and Warning:

We do like to give incentive and reward 100% rep membership in our community as a thank you for those of you that have made this community your one and only home and are active in our community.  Although the pledge may be taken during any time.  To get the benefits of any raffles or giveaways one must be an agent before the current month's raffle.  We do upload our roster and the ranks as of the 1st of every month to the random drawer to keep track of who is entitled to benefits.

Please be advised we take the 100% rep pledge very seriously and will enforce it harshly. Pledging 100% rep with intent of reaping the rewards while trying to skirt the rep requirement or later receding your pledge soon after benefits are given could result in us revoking benefits or your guild membership all together.  No refunds will be issued for delinquent activity related to the clear breaches of the 100% rep pledge or any other guild rules.  We take this pledge very seriously and it should be taken with a degree of certainty you are willing to commit to it.  Please do not put admin in the awkward position of us having to take disciplinary action.

How you can be sure we're being responsible and fair:

We use a reputable random picker generator for each of our drawing to ensure fairness and equality in our raffles.  After each drawing the winners will be published from the website that draw them. On this page you will be able to audit your own chances and see how many tickets (weights) we had you down for by entering your account name at the bottom.  If there is an error on our part we will work with you and refund your tickets in whole or part depending on the circumstances.

We have no problems being transparent on this topic.  Everyone will be able to see how many tickets people purchased via the guild bank history and audit the winner's chances as well as their own at the winner's publication page. Additionally we have published our accounting ledger for Guild Raffle prizes, gold, and weekly giveaways.
