No one's quite sure if it's simply a really good illusion (he is a mesmer, after all) in spirit of the holiday, or if he really did manage to get into bloodstone. His krewe is apparently in on it, however, as they've warned people not to take candy from him. Perhaps he found a culinary use for bloodstone dust? On the other hand, they might just want all the candy for themselves.
